| And a happy belated new year to you, too. This is a short one, as I don't want my paint brush to dry. After very nice, very quiet, very uneventful holidays, I've plunged into grown-up world and bought a house. My first. Well, a condominium, actually, though I swear it doesn't look like a retirement home. We'll just call it a house for our purposes--much sexier. So all I do every single day, all day, is sand things, paint them, mess them up, go back to have the nice people at Porter Paint laugh at me, paint again, go to Home Depot, buy hinges, realize they're the wrong ones, go back to Home Depot, return them, buy more--plus a bunch of other stuff, buy a hot dog from the nice lunch cart lady in the parking lot, eat it on the way to the flooring store... I think you see where I'm going with all this. Kind of busy these days. It would help if I were actually the LEAST bit handy, but I'm relying on the kindness of strangers/friends/family/nice people I meet in the Yellow Pages to get me through. Hope all is well with all of you. Really looking forward to getting on the road again in the next few months--more dates are being added every day.
